The henna party begins when the henna artist(s) arrive in cultural dress. Art & design books are passed around, so that the guests can begin to choose what design they like. There is a brief discussion about the history of henna and the basic mehandi process is explained. All are then invited to decide on a henna design and the henna starts to flow. People wait in anticipation of which design will be theirs to behold.
An average time for henna party is two to three hours .(Private parties are charged by the hour)
